who else is anxious for the denim shirt to make a comeback?

A few weeks ago I logged into my Facebook account only to discover that the class photo from my most awkward year had been posted by one of my 6th grade classmates. And Ten Cow, being the fabulous friend she is, just couldn't resist tagging me in it. Awkward bangs and all. For all the Facebook world to see. I have since forgiven her, but only because she introduced me to Diet Sunkist.

My 6th grade year was apparently the year of denim and golf shirts. Gap from head to toe, topped off with a braided belt.

The same classmate who posted our 6th grade photo also posted our 1st grade photo, a much less awkward year for me. This was the year of the frilly dress and polka dots. I'm proud I went with the polka dots for a bit of an edgier look.

Note: For those of you who struggling to spot me, I will give you a hint - I am in the same spot in both photos.

i miss my friends. and my long hair too.

Some of my favorite memories from college are from the football games. Others involve jungle juice, but those memories are not really the point of this blog. Last night Utah played TCU, and I wished so badly I was in Utah watching the game with my college friends. Ryan went to a friend's house to watch the game, and while I was home taking care of the animals, I went through my college photo album. I have to share with you a few photos from the football games. They make me happy. They're from the year Utah's football team kicked so much ass, almost as much ass as our state of the art scanner kicks. (Did you pick up on that sarcasm?!)
